How to bottle feed a lamb or goat kid

There is nothing cuter in spring than a lamb or kid (baby goat) and many new Michigan country dwellers want to start spring by bottle feeding some babies. You may want them for pets or for their milk or meat. It isn’t too hard but there are some important things to think about and learn before you begin. Most lambs and kids available for pets and meat are going to be male. All most all dairy goats are bottle fed. However, dairy goat female kids (doelings) are generally kept by the owners for replacement stock or to sell as almost mature animals.
